Our students are driven by education and want a culturally immersive experience which is why they decide to stay with a host family. Everybody is welcome to apply to be a volunteer host family. A host family can be a single person, single parents, parents, grandparents or partners, as long as you can commit to welcoming a student into your home and treating them like family, we consider all suitable families to host international students. In 2014, 106,712 exchange students came to the U.S. and resided with host families. We have been matching interested host families with foreign exchange students since 1998. We would be happy to assist your family in choosing a foreign student too!
